Details: Viognier, is one of the more prestigious grapes varieties that grow in the Cotes du Rhone region. Furthermore, it is steeped in tradition as being one of the noble grapes of the area. These days not many producers can be bothered to grow Viognier as the yield is not so good, and it is costly to upkeep. Jeremie Castor however, promotes it as one of his flagship wines, and the effort he puts into producing it is second to none. The wine has a citric, sweet lemon and acacia style which is superb to taste, and his limited production sells out every year.
