Details: This rich and powerful Merlot is made by Madame Lucile Delay, at Mazane in the Ventoux, under the watchful eye of Mount Ventoux. The Merlot is not an admissible grape variety for the Appelation of the Ventoux wines, and therefore cannot be included in any Ventoux Blend. However the conditions for growing Merlot are very favourable, and it makes sense that they produce this wine. It is always 13% plus, and great to accompany any dark roasts of strong cheeses. Presented in a new heavyweight bottle, it remains one of my top 10 wines and I thoroughly recommend it for you to try. Great Value
