Details: This white Burgundy fitted the bill exactly for our needs and although not very well known, proved to be superb quality for the price. Geographically close to Pouilly, this wine showed all the qualities of more expensive white Burgundy, and not only did it show it's accurate structure, there was superb balance and taste as a bonus. Made from Chardonnay, grown in the clay and chalk of the south, this wine had super flavour and style. There was only a hint of the petrolly nose, which we preferred, and the good acidity and fruit balanced out well in this very fine example. Great value for the money, well recommended
