Details: The tiny area of Rueda, in western Spain, produces a mixture of unknown and unusual grape varieties. The grape responsible for the white of the area is Verdejo, which give a fresh, fruity, clean flavour with a hint of flinty nut in the aftertaste. Great with fish and hard cheeses, this unknown white is now attracting a serious market. Well recommended for that anytime glass, or if you'd prefer to eat, try it with white meats.
