Details: This wine is the Star of the show. Unfortunately it is not made in huge quantities, and also not made every year. The main grape is the Grenache, although a little Syrah and Mourvedre is used. The wine is aged for 9 months in Oak to soften it and to give it some character. The maturation in oak give the wine a soft, rich flavour which has wooded undertones, and has superb balance and length. Certainly one to treat yourself to, but sadly not always available. Buy some while it is, albeit only a few bottles. Superb!
