Details: Hailing from a small individual estate in the South of France, not too far from Montpellier, this Picpoul shows all the traits of a well made bespoke style wine. Great flavour and balance, the wine is fresh and crisp with a hint of zesty lemon in the aftertaste. The production area is protected by its own AOC, and situated in the Languedoc area, is great with seafood and shellfish. The BelleMare estate is only 68 hectares, 63 of which are planted in and around the Etang de Thau, the largest saltwater lake in the area. Little wonder the wine is designed to accompany the fish.
